Gizona eta emakumea bere errutinara lotuak bizi dira, Gizona irakaslea da, eta giro gogor etsigarria duen ostatu batean bizi da. Totelka hitz egiteak bere konfiantza txikiagotu egiten du. Arratsaldero emakumearen etxera doa, bertan jolastu eta kafea hartzen dute, eta ostatura bueltatzen da. Emakumea errutina honetara ohituta dago, eta arratsaldero haren bisita itxaroten du. Baina, arratsalde honetan, haren errutina etsigarriari egingo dio aurre. Lagun berriak egitera behartu nahi du, nahiz eta gizona bizitza horrekin asebete sentitu.  Euren artean gatazka sortzen du honek eta emakumea aldendu egiten da, gizona etxetik ia botaz. Bere maitasuna aitortzen dio gizonak, emakumeak berdina egiten du. Hala ere, emakumeak ez du errutina berberarekin jarraitu nahi. Gizona etxean geratzen da edonola ere. Antzezlanaren bukaeran, emakumeakiritziz aldatuko du eta geratzenutziko dio. Bizitza berri bat du buruan gizonaren alboan: errutina berri bat.

A man and a woman are stuck in their routines. The man is a schoolteacher and lives in an Inn which has a depressing, insensitive atmosphere. The fact that he stammers decreases his self-confidence. He goes to the woman’s house every evening, they play and drink coffee, and then he goes back to his room in the Inn. The woman is accustomed to this routine as well, and waits for him to come everyday. However, this evening she decides to confront with this depressing routine. She wants to force him to make new friends although he is satisfied with his current situation. This argument riggers a conflict between them which leads to a point that the woman wards off the man, and almost makes him get out of the house. The man confesses his love, the woman does too. However, she does not want this routine anymore. The man stays in the house anyway. At the end of the play, the woman changes her mind, and consents to his stay. She plans a new life with him: a new routine.

Cora Panizza Burnt fot. BEATRIX MEXI MOLNARAuthor: Cora Panizza – Direction/Choreography:  Cora Panizza – Performers: Cora Panizza – Lighting design: Cora Panizza – Music:  Ojan Nightbus / KIASMOS

Burnt jaiotzetik jasan beharreko kanpo baldintzetan inspiratutako lan txikia da. Baldintzatuak gaudenez, ez garen hori bilakatzen gara konturatzeke. Lan honek baldintzapekotasunetik gure baitarekiko eta inguruarekiko kontzientzia-esnatze txiki baterainoko trantsizioa irudikatzen du. Esnatze bat da, ez bakarrik gurekikoa, baizik eta munduarekikoa

Burnt is a short piece inspired in those external restrictions we are exposed to since we are born. Since we are conditioned, we become someone we are not in fact. This piece shows the transition from conditionings to awaiking to consciousness, ourselves and the surroundings. An arousal not only to our identity but to  the World as well.

Auskalo bidea nora doan . Bi bidaide, bekatuzko bidean. Elkarren osagarri dira, bata bestea gabe ez dira ezer, baina aurrez-aurre elkar hilko dute. Zurekin, baina zu gabe. Kaixo eta agur. Ikusi bazaitut, ez dut gogoan.

YI-HA breaks through a dusty road to the tough and dry life in the far, old, wild West. Who knows where the way goes, go figure ! Two on the road, the sinful road. Story about two that complement each other, one is nothing without the other, but they must kill each other. They cannot life with or without each other. Hi and bye, and that´s the end of the story (people are soon forgotten …).

Si te he visto no me acuerdo.

LEAR´S DAUGHTERS DARIA KOPIEC POLAND 30’

lears daugthers

Author: Elaine Feinstein – Direction: Daria Kopiec – Performers: Martyna Byczkowska, Natalia Czekała, Agata Różycka, Marysia Sobocińska – Lighting design: Daria Kopiec – Music: Natalia Czekała – Choreography: Aneta Jankowska – Scenography: Weronika Wojtach

Lear’s daughters “Learrenalabak”-ek Shakespearen tragedian gertaturikoak iragartzen ditu eta interpretatzeko modu desberdin bat iradokitzen – Shakespearen tragedia ulertzeko dugun modua aldatzen du, Lear biktima bezala sumatzeko ohiturari aurre eginez. Ekintzaren erdian daude Goneril, Regan, Cordelia eta Zoroa. Antzezlanaren gaia ahizpen eta gurasoen arteko harremana da. Ahizpek, modu lausotuan aitaren jokamoldea kronikoki absentea izan dela iradokitzen dute eta amaren familia bizitzatik bakartutakoa. Jokalan honen ipuin- konbentzioak gai mingarri eta zailak aurkezteko balio du.

Lear´s Daughters, Elaine Feinstein-en jatorrizko ideia batean oinarritua, Women´s Theater Groupeko aktoreek tailer batean landua izan zen hasiera batean.

Lear’s Daughters predicts events in Shakespeare’s tragedy and suggest a different way of interpreting the form – it changes the way we think about the tragedy of Shakespeare, challenging tradition of Lear’s perception as a victim. In the center of the action are Goneril, Regan, Cordelia and the Fool. The theme of the play is the relationship between the sisters and the father and mother. Sisters in a veiled way suggest the attitude of Lear as a chronically absent father and withdrawn from family life of the mother. A fairy tale convention of the performance functions as a way of presenting painful and difficult subjects. Lear’s daughters, based on an original idea by Elaine Feinstein, was initially workshopped with actors from the Women’s Theatre Group.
