ACT 2018 MAIN AWARD: 'Trigger Warning' by Yang Han BI (Korea)

2.000 € eta hilabeteko egoitza artistikoa BAIeko bilboko lokaleetan. 2000 € plus an scolarship for a 15 days artistic residence in Baibaiua Artistic Creation Center, Bilbao, and participate in ACT 2018 with the new production. 2000 euros más beca para una residencia artística de 15 días en el centro de creación Baibaiua en Bilbao y participación en el ACT 2018 con su nueva producción.

Hasieran izerdi batean eduki gaituzte, zer demontre ikusiko dugu? Ondoren,, beren unibertsora gonbidatu gaituzte. Oso unibertso berezko umoretsu eta energetikoa. Estetika arraro kementsua sortu dute, berau aztertzeko jakinmina eraginez gugan. Epaile bezala beren arriskua besarkatu dugu hala nola beren aukera ausartak, halako performance punky ustekabekoa sortzeko.

In the beginning they kept us sweating, what the hell were we going to see? Then we were invited to their universe. A very particular and energetic universe with humour. They created a strong strange aesthetic that intrigues you to explore it with them. As a jury we embraced their risk and their bold choices that created a surprising punky performance.

Al comienzo nos han hecho sudar, ¿qué demonios vamos a ver? Es entonces cuando nos han invitado a su universo. Uno muy particular y energético. Han creado una estética muy poderosa que te intriga a explorarla con ellas. Como juradas hemos abrazado su riesgo y sus atrevidas elecciones que han creado esta sorprendente performance punky.

 

ACT-DURI Korea: 'Palma' by Cíe. Caminante (Belgium)

Irabazleak koreako Duri Dance Theatren antzeztuko du bidaia eta egonaldia barne dagoela. In collaboration with the Duri Dance Theatre from Seul, Korea. The winner piece will be scheduled during the 2017-2018 programmation of the theatre with travel expenses and accomodation included. En colaboración con el Duri Dance Theatre de Seúl, Corea. La pieza ganadora será programada dentro de la temporada 2017-2018 en la programación del Duri Dance Theatre con gastos de viaje y alojamiento cubiertos.

 

Ustekabean harrapatu gaituen performer handi bat ikusi dugu, lanaren garapen interesgarriarekin irabazi gaituena. Performance indartsu honek ikusle berriak merezi baititu. Duri Antzokitik hasita.

We saw a great performer who caught us by surprise and won us over with an interesting evolution of the piece.  A powerful performance that deserves more audiences. Starting at Duri Theatre.

Hemos visto a una gran performer que nos ha capturado por sorpresa y Ganado a través de una evolución interesante de la pieza. Una performance poderosa que merece más audiencias. Comenzando por Duri Theatre.

ACT-BAD Bilbao: 'Confetti' by Emilien Truche y Guillaume Auzépy (Germany)

BAD Jaialdiaren antolakuntzak eskainia. Jaialdia udaletxeak antolatzen du eta saria bertan programatua izatean datza, datorren urrian 2019. The winner company will be scheduled in BAD Festival (Bilbao Antzerki Dantza) in 2019. Travel expenses, accomodation and cachet stipulated by BAD, included. La compañía ganadora será programada dentro del Festival BAD (Bilbao Antzerki Dantza) en 2019. Pago de viajes, estancia y caché estipulado por el BAD.

 

Bere diziplinara hurbiltzeko modu berria ikusi dugu. Lan honek gai pertsonal gatazkatsu bat hartzen du kontutan. . BADeko ikuslea gu bezainbeste harrituko duela.

We saw a new approach to its discipline. It was a performance that touched upon personal confronting theme. We hope it will surprise the audience of BAD as much as it did us.

Vemos una aproximación nueva a su disciplina. Ha sido una actuación que toma en consideración un tema de confrontación personal. Esperamos que sorprenda a la audiencia de BAD tanto como nos ha sorprendido a nosotras.

Collage gordin bat, gai larri bati egindako hurbiltze desberdinez osatua. Pentsa erazi digute, eta barrea eragin digute. Beren antzerki lengoaiak eta konpromiso politikoak etorkizunean ukituko dituzten gaiekiko eta lanekiko ikusmina sortu digute.

A raw collage of different approaches with an urgent theme. They made us think, they made us laugh.  Their theatrical language and political engagement made us curious about new works and other topics they will touch upon.

Un crudo collage de diferentes acercamientos a un tema urgente. Nos hacen pensar, reír. Su lenguaje teatral y compromiso político nos pone expectantes sobre sus nuevos trabajos y y otros temas que tratarán.
