«Euren hitzetan» ACT 2020 jaialdirako beren-beregi sortutako gertakizuna da, eta artistak eta publikoa elkartzen ditu entzute konektatuaren momentu partekatuan. Antzezpenak, berrikuntzak, elkarrizketak eta ospakizunak osatzen dute saioa. Teresa Brayshaw-k zuzenduta, «Twenty First Century Performance Reader » (Routledge 2019) luze itxarondako liburuaren koeditorea dena, eta gonbidatu berezien laguntzaz, besteak beste, Anna Fenemore eta Noel Witts, aipatu argitalpenaren koeditoreak direnak. Gertakizun honek konektagarritasunerako aukera sortzen du, belaunaldien zein kultura artekoa, elkarrekin egoteko eta arnasa kolektiboa hartzeko aukera ere eskainiz.

‘In their own words’ is an event specially created for ACT Festival 2020, which brings together, artists and audiences in a shared moment of connected listening. Part performance, part invocation, part conversation and part celebration. Curated by Teresa Brayshaw, co-editor of the long awaited Twenty First Century Performance Reader (Routledge 2019), and with performance moments from special guests including her co-editors Anna Fenemore and Noel Witts, this event creates an opportunity for intergenerational and intercultural connectivity – a chance to be together and take a collective breath.

«En sus propias palabras» es un evento creado especialmente para el ACT Festival 2020, que reúne, artistas y público en un momento compartido de escucha conectada. Parte actuación, parte invocación, parte conversación y parte celebración. dirigida por Teresa Brayshaw, coeditora del largamente esperado libro «Twenty First Century Performance Reader » (Routledge 2019), y con momentos de actuación de invitados especiales, entre los que se encuentran sus coeditores Anna Fenemore y Noel Witts, este evento crea una oportunidad para la conectividad intergeneracional e intercultural, una oportunidad para estar juntos y tomar un respiro colectivo.

Kanpin-denda bat gau izartsu batean. Ikusle talde batek ez daki nor diren, zergatik dauden hor, ezta denda barruan zer egon daitekeen ere. Azkenean iritsi da eguna. Orain zerbaiten parte dira, beraiek baino askoz handiago den zerbaiten zati. Zer atera liteke gaizki? Ganeko Crew umore absurdoko antzerki lana da, publikoa perseida-gau baten misterioan murgiltzen duena. Sormen kolektiboko prozesu honek ikusleari ibilbide sentsorial eta parte-hartzaile bat proposatzen dio, Ganekogorta mendian geratu den jende talde baten esperientzia kontatzen duena.

A tent on a starry night A group of spectators who do not know who they are, why they are there or what is waiting for them inside the tent. The day has finally come. Now they are part of something, something much bigger than themselves. What could go wrong? Ganeko Crew is a theatrical work of absurd humor that plunges the audience into the mystery of a night of Perseids. This collective creation offers the viewer a sensory and participatory journey that narrates the experience of a group of people who have met on Mount Ganekogorta

/ Una tienda de campaña en una noche estrellada. Un grupo de espectador@s que no sabe quiénes son, por qué están ahí ni que les espera dentro de la tienda. Al fin ha llegado el día. Ahora son parte de algo, de algo mucho más grande que ellos mismos. ¿Qué podría salir mal? Ganeko Crew es un trabajo teatral de humor absurdo que sumerge al público en el misterio de una noche de perseidas. Este proceso de creación colectiva propone al espectador un recorrido sensorial y participativo que narra la experiencia de un grupo de gente que se ha citado en el monte Ganekogorta

Ararat eskuen xehetasunean eta zehaztasunean oinarritutako koreografia bat da. Komitas Vardapet, hil arte isilik geratu zen musikari armeniarraren bidaia introspektiboan inspiratua, sorkuntzak, egoera onirikoa eta errealitatearekiko distantzia, askapen bide bakar bezala gogorarazten ditu. Bidaia introspektibo batetik eta armeniar kulturaren funtsezko ezaugarrietatik – Bere geometria arkaikoak, bere aura sakratua eta bere dantza eta musika sentsualak – Formen arazketan oinarritutako koreografia abstraktu bat sortzen da.

ARARAT is an abstract and essential piece based on continuity and on hands detail and precision. Inspired by Komitas Vardapet introspective journey, a prominent Armenian musician who was silent until his death, this creation evokes the dream state and the distance from reality as the only way of survival. Introspection and confinement are embodied by the performers through the minimalist movements from this ancient culture geometric concepts.

ARARAT es una coreografía basada en el detalle y la precisión de las manos. Inspirada en el viaje introspectivo de Komitas Vardapet, un músico armenio que quedó en silencio hasta su muerte, la creación evoca el estado onírico y la distancia con la realidad como única vía de liberación. De un viaje introspectivo y de los rasgos fundamentales de la cultura armenia – sus geometrías arcaicas, su aura sagrada y sus sensuales danzas y músicas – surge una coreografía abstracta fundamentada en la depuración de las formas.
