SUBJECT OF INTEREST THE BOY FROM WHEREVER (15′)
ANGELOS PAPADOPOULOS GREECE
Through the scope of application on two bodies in motion we search for the expansion of the concept of the intermediate space. Having as a starting point the determination of a normalcy, random and dynamic, we move forward into a condition able to interrupt it. This condition is the communication between the bodies through the eye contact. The moment of inception of the dialogue unsettles the normalcy creating a discontinuity in the linear perception of the environment and expands time.
The means by which a trypophobic skeleton is formed is geometry, which, however, only thanks to the imaginative contribution of the human mind, becomes an active gateway for fear; reflecting man’s insecurities and paranoia.

ESKLAN ART’S FACTORY ITALIA
“In a dynamic almost completely zero, in the micro tic of the robot, a machine built to feed man’s high and low needs, we can see the tenderness of the Golem, which tries those verses of a language that does not understand, disoriented, without any comfort…” The choreographer Erika Silgoner, fascinated by this anthropomorphic figure, revisits the myth of the “Golem” to investigate the existential limits of contemporary man and the complex laws that govern life.

BELLANDA COMPANY / GIOVANNI GAVA L. ITALIA
There are things I would really like to tell you. You’re more than anything, I do everything you want and maybe you’ll never know how much I think of you as I look for you as I miss you. With you there is nothing that I have not been; I become what you want. There are things that I would really like to tell you; I escape where you are not there, sometimes I disappear but where I go I think of you. Our time seems so little but I’ll dance like I’ve never done. A letter to my son Gabriele written in dance.

VOLUMEN I (30′)
MUCHA MUCHACHA MADRID
ACT 2020 SARIA AWARD PREMIO
Volume 1 takes up some universal dance myths to reinterpret them and see how they are transformed: the murder of a virgin in The Rite of Spring, the firm and strong Haka of the Maori warriors, the collective trance of Ravel’s Bolero, as well as reinterpreting some Spanish pop songs that talk about women. The body is understood between two worlds: the traditional and the contemporary. Volume 1 is a contemporary dance piece, it is a declaration of intentions around movement, community, femininity and ritual.
