ACT International Festival for Emerging Performing Artists
ACT festival promotes international emerging performing artists who with their innovating proposals are defining the performing arts scene of the future. The festival celebrated its first edition in 2004 and takes place annually ever since.
Four days to experience live art, assist shows, workshops, courses, sessions of reflection and build international relationships in three spaces in Bilbao and Barakaldo: Kafe Antzokia, Guggenheim Bilbao Museum and Barakaldo Theater.
ACT is a contest for creators, a space of encounters between artists and audience and a renowned performing arts fair that brings together programmers from all over the world.

ACT Festival is involved in an international festival network to promote emerging performing artists. Together with ACT festival the network consists of BE Festival from Birmingham, ITs Festival from Amsterdam, SHORT Theatre from Rome and MESS Festival from Sarajevo.
